My family has a tradition of heading to the park for Easter Sunday after mass. We make ceviche (raw shrimp marinated in lime juice and served on a tostada – so yummy!) and hide Easter eggs for the kiddos around the park. It’s one of my favorite traditions, and I looked forward to it every year when I lived in Arizona. I would always be so extra and dress up in my best Easter Sunday outfit – even if it was just to lounge on a lawn chair in the sun.
This dress screamed Easter to me, and I had to snag it when I saw it at Forever 21. The blush color is calming and the fit and fabric lend itself for the unpredictable April weather. I can even see this being a great dress to wear over a bathing suit as a coverup since it simply unties around the waist.
A dress like this is an essential in any spring wardrobe. Since it’s not a floral pattern, you can really dress it up or down (I talk all about wearing stripes here). I already know I’ll be living in maxi, wrap dresses this spring because they’re so easy to throw on but you still look like you tried.
What traditions do you and your family have for Easter Sunday? Do you pull out your Sunday best or do you keep it comfy and casual for your Easter Sunday? I’d love to know!
Thanks for sharing your day with me. If you’re celebrating, I hope you have the best Easter with your family and friends!
