Piggy-backing on my last outfit post where I shared a fall work look for my hot weather ladies, today I thought I’d talk about fall in Arizona – or the lack thereof. If you’ve missed my Instas or that post, I’m currently visiting family in AZ and the hubs and I have also spent some time in Las Vegas and Long Beach, CA.
It’s been a lot of fun but a big part of me has been missing true fall weather (and our Westie Scottie!). I lived in AZ for over 20 years with no desire to experience fall or FOMO so it’s safe to say Connecticut has truly spoiled me, and now I know if we make our way back southwest one day I’ll be a sad little chick-a-dee without fall.
So in order to make fall in Arizona work for me, I’ve pulled out my trusty olive duster jacket! This thing was super inexpensive and I kid you not I’ve styled it so many times on the blog. It’s a fall staple in my closet and a must for anyone living in warm weather states.
SHOP THE LOOK
I love this coat for its versatility. It’s the type of piece that helps you transition smoothly into cooler temps. I love it because it’s light enough to keep you warm in the mornings but will still work when it heats up a bit in the afternoon. I just roll up the sleeves and I’m good to go.
What does fall look like where you’re from? I’d love to hear about your fall staples and pieces that help you transition into cooler weather!
Happy almost Friday!
