Friday Favorites 8.18.17

Friday favorites are back baby! If you remember I started this series back in March. It was short-lived, I know, but that’s because falling truly, madly, deeply in love with different products each week is not feasible for me. Granted some weeks are an exception, but for the most part, I’m likely to stick to what I know and love.

Today I felt the urge to revive my series. It’s not coming back every Friday, but you’ll see it pop-up here and there when products have truly wowed me. Lately I’ve accumulated quite the loot! And I’m so excited to share my Friday favorites with you today!

best beauty products to try right now

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil

Nobody seems to talk about this eyebrow pencil but it’s so good! The feel is very similar to this pencil but for whatever reason, I find Hourglass does a better job at helping me define my brows. Unlike other pencils I’ve tried, I don’t feel like this has attributed to any loss of brow hair and the color selection is great. Bonus: it has a spoolie!

Dream Glow Goddess Combo: Fake Bake Tinted Body Glow (c/o) and NUXE Dry Oil Face, Body, Hair

Keeping a tan in Connecticut is a full-time job. I’ve raved about this product before to give me a glow but lately, this combo has been taking the cake! With Fake Bake, you get a beautiful sheen, subtle gold flex, and the prettiest tropical scent. It also dries very quickly (so work fast). Add the dry oil on top and instantly your skin gives off a “wet” look. It’s beautiful and I highly recommend the two together! You can see both products in action in the picture below.

L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise (Waterproof in Blackest Black)

This is a new favorite! I’ve always been a lover of drugstore mascaras and this one solidified my opinion that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on good ones. I’ve been wearing it every day and it’s quickly become a go-to. It holds a curl, doesn’t flake, separates, and gives incredible volume. You’re not going to get a lot of length but for me, volume is the most important thing.

Sigma Tapered Blending E40 (c/o)

I keep it pretty simple when it comes to everyday eye makeup but recently I’ve been wanting a little more definition in my crease. A few months ago Sigma was kind enough to send me some products and while a few were a mixed review, this brush is incredible and a must in your brush arsenal. It blends shadows so well yet defines your crease like no other! For $17 it’s a great price for a brush you’ll use and have forever.

I’d love to hear what beauty products you’ve been loving lately and which ones you can’t live without!

Happy Fri-yay loves!
