I’m not judging. It happens all the time! We start off totally ready to kick butt and set crazy health goals, basically setting ourselves up for failure. I’ve been there, done that. I want to discuss easy tips that will help you prioritize a healthier, more organic lifestyle. This is a simple starting point for those seeking baby steps to changing the way you approach wellness and truly want to make a change.
1. Change your mindset
Like many things in life, making a change comes with a shift in mindset; It all starts with wanting to be and do better, and it starts in your head. Dig deep and take a look at past eating habits as well as behaviors that might be hindering progress. Once you’ve pinpointed where the “bad” habits start, you can work toward shifting them into habits that align better with your new goals.
2. Research restaurants ahead of time
With so many apps and the internet at our fingertips, it’s easy to narrow down your search and look at the menu beforehand. A lot of restaurants offer healthier versions of main meals or a separate menu all-together making it a lot easier to enjoy a night out even when you’re working toward a health goal. Looking at the menu at home can help you pick a meal and eliminate temptation.
3. Choose better-for-you drink options post gym
