Ok, friends. I’m getting to the point in my pregnancy where not much fits me anymore but I still want to look and feel my best. I’ve reached the 8-month mark and buying any maternity clothing just isn’t where I’m trying to spend my money anymore. When I came across this mod Jackie O-inspired little black dress it looked pretty boring on the hanger but if I’ve learned anything about style and clothes is that you just don’t know how it’s going to look until you try it on. I’ve found real gems and closet staples just but taking that sad looking piece of clothing with me to the dressing room and trying it on.
This dress is definitely a gem. It’s a wardrobe must-have that will remain in your closet for years to come.. and you know how I feel about classics (hint: I live for them!). Because of its slight hint to mod style and A-line silhouette, this LBD will look stunning on all body types; it even hugs my bump just right! Not to mention the bow-tied collar adds the perfect playful and feminine touch I often crave from my fashion finds.
what I’m wearing
Another thing to note about this Jackie O-inspired little black dress is its versatility. While it would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day date night, it would also be great to wear to any event you need to feel comfortable but look polished. Think of it as your go-to for any classy occasions you might have penned in your calendar. Plus like with any LBD, they truly lend themselves to be seasonless and a blank canvas to play with any accessories and color you choose.
I would love to know how you would style this LBD? Would you keep it classic and stay true to its mod Jackie O feel? Or would you modernized it and add a hint of color with accessories? Definitely share below!
Happy Monday my beauties!
