It goes without saying that some pieces are just meant to be wardrobe staples. Everything about them is just right: the print, fabric, silhouette, everything works to make it a classic item.
As soon as I laid eyes on this open-back leopard dress I knew it was a timeless piece I had to add to my closet. From the cut to the mock neck and A-line shape, it had just the right blend of vintage meets modern and I could see myself easily dressing it down for casual weekend-wear or adding heels for a sultrier night-out option. The styling possibilities are truly endless.
What I’m Wearing
That’s what I love about unique finds. They really elevate your style and make it easy to build a wardrobe that will stand the test of time. They also have a way of challenging you to wear and style them in different ways. Since this dress lends itself so well for a more dressier option, I decided to go the opposite route and showcase it in a more casual setting, though I have a feeling I’ll soon re-shoot and style it for a night out. In my opinion, the versatility of a piece is one of the things that makes it splurge-worthy and a must-have.
Another thing I love about this leopard dress is that I didn’t have to size up, even with a 6-month bump! I’m wearing my normal size (size two) and it’s still so comfortable. This is another reason why the silhouette is a winner – it shapes where it needs to and gives a flowy fit in areas you need more space (for me being the tummy).
Are you as obsessed as I am with this open-back leopard dress? I am dying to wear it again for a night out with the hubs soon!
Let me know below how you would style it and if you’re a fan of leopard in general?
