It’s official, the hubs and I are headed to Paris! This weekend we finalized our travel plans for the rest of the year (I hinted about it on Instagram) and booked our flights to Europe and Spain. After all, Paris is always a good idea right? I think so too 😉 We’ll be celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary and counting it as the honeymoon we really never had so this trip has been a long time coming! I’ve already gone Pinterest-crazy, reading every travel guide I come across and pinning restaurant lists and travel tips. Not to mention my favorite bloggers have been spamming my Insta feed with gorgeous Paris photos for #PFW (Paris Fashion Week) so the wanderlust is in full effect.
We also planned our trip to Montréal next month for my husband’s annual hockey tournament, California for a friend’s wedding and Arizona for some family time and birthday celebrations. Needless to say some serious shopping is in order! Are you the same way? I always have to do a bit of shopping before big trips to find those elusive “perfect outfits.”
These high-waisted pants are definitely coming with me during my travels! They’re incredible! I know I keep talking about them but they’re the most comfortable “jeggings” I’ve ever owned. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been wearing them almost every day because they work with casual and dressier options. All winter I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair and found them about a month ago at Nordstrom. I should have known Nordstrom would be the spot!
This cute olive duster jacket was last seen in THIS fall post. It just shows how staple pieces can be worn in so many ways and during different seasons. I picked this one up at Forever 21 for under $25 and it’s been so good to me. I found a look-a-like here for less than mine!
On my lips I have on *Burberry’s liquid lip velvet in “Fawn” which has been my go-to for an everyday lip. It’s a little bit of rosy brown and works with any look. I love that it glides on and doesn’t accentuate dryness, especially since we’ve been getting harsh winds here in Connecticut.
The debate is on about shoes for Europe and Spain. I love a good heel but I’m definitely not packing any. If you’ve been during the spring months, what did you wear for shoes? For clothes?! I want to look put together but also be comfortable.
And of course please send any recommendations for restaurants and places we have to visit in London, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid! Any help would be so appreciated!
Thanks for reading today’s post! I’m so excited I get to bring you along for these trips!
