A red Valentine’s Day dress? Groundbreaking!!! Yes ladies, I know I am bringing you one of the most overdone looks but I couldn’t help myself. Call me a romantic, but I am here for all the reds and pinks that come with Valentine’s Day. It’s not necessarily one of my favorite holidays but I do think it’s nice it helps us re-focus our attention on the one(s) we love – whether that is a significant other or our best girlfriends.
It’s a day that’s become all about celebrating love, and a red Valentine’s Day dress definitely puts me in the spirit. This Vince Camuto a-line dress has the most simple and flattering silhouette (I mean, hello bump!) yet the oversized bow neckline detail gives it all the drama you could possibly want. It’s classic, fun, and you truly feel your best wearing it, which isn’t that the most important part?
what I’m wearing
I’m a big fan of pairing red dresses with nude heels because they elongate my legs so I went with my trusty pumps. I also decided this dress could use some fun earrings so I paired it with my current fave (under $4!).
Because it’s pretty cold in CT, a white peacoat will not only keep you warm but add to the sophistication of the overall look. It’s also a great way to add another style element without really trying too hard.
Will you be wearing red or pink on Valentine’s Day? What other color do you think is appropriate for the holiday? Let me know below!
Happy Friday loves & until my next post!
