River Island Floral Dress + Life Lately

Happy Friday and last day of March loves! Yesterday I actually put pen to paper and started jotting down all my plans, appointments and special dates for April and let’s just say it’s panning out to be a super busy month! I’m not complaining though. There are so many fun things finally happening that I can’t wait to share. We’ve also been actively searching for a new place either in Connecticut or New York. The search is both exciting and nerve-racking because the market out here moves fast. I fall in love with a place, set a day to visit and next thing I know it’s already rented. I can’t catch a break. I just remind myself how long it took us to find our current place and how much we love it so all will end up how it’s supposed to.

Today’s look is two current trends combined: the cold-shoulder and floral print. I’m a big fan of both so when I was searching the internet, aimlessly adding things to carts I never pull the trigger on, this River Island floral dress actually stuck. The length, the fit, everything about it makes it a beautiful spring dress.

I had so much fun running around this park my hubby and I randomly found in Tarrytown, New York. Don’t be fooled by how “warm” I look though. The day was freezing and since we were near the water, the wind was out of control. The good thing about always being on the hunt for photo ops is that it forces you to explore neighborhoods which later we revisit if we loved aka this park is on our list for a picnic once the weather warms up.

How’s life been for you lately? Any special plans for April? I’ll keep you guys updated on our apartment hunting, which I hope will be coming to a happy end pretty soon.

Enjoy your weekend loves!
