Hey loves! So glad you decided to check out today’s post. We’re about a week away from Thanksgiving (can you believe it?) and 40 days until Christmas – time is flying! I start getting into the holiday spirit in October. The weather in Connecticut starts getting cooler – though this year it took its sweet time – and come November, I’ve drank my fair share of pumpkin spice lattés and purchased more scarves than any sane person should.
Take the scarf I’m wearing. It was an impulse buy but it’s been one of my favorite purchases. I’m thinking it’ll be my “Thanksgiving” scarf because it’s super cozy and can be worn with basically any look.

Jacket: New York & Co., similar here and here || Sweater: Forever 21 (also worn in this look) || Scarf: Gap, similar here || Pants: Zara, similar here and here || Booties: Target || Bag: c/o Lauren Ralph Lauren: Lip: Smashbox (also comes in this set)
If you’re still trying to decide what to wear for Thanksgiving, this outfit has all the warm tones and cozy feels for the day. It’s the type of look that’s festive just enough and will hide the fact you’ve had plenty of pie, seconds.. and maybe thirds.
The sweater might also look familiar – I wore it in this look and basically throw it on when I don’t know what to wear. For $12, it’s actually super soft and has held its shape after wash (I’m wearing a medium).
Another repeat offender are my black sock booties. They’ve been all over my outfit posts because they’re so versatile and such a staple in my fall and winter wardrobes. Not only do I love pairing them with jeans, but they also look great paired with a sweater dress. Plus the price point is insane – under $40!
What are your thoughts on this look? Do you normally go casual or dress up for Thanksgiving?
I’d love to hear your thoughts below!
I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving and a BIG thank you for continuing to support this little space of mine online!
Until next post!
