I’m feeling very lovey-dovey these days. It probably has everything to do with baby girl’s arrival being all I can think about. But I’ve also been physically super uncomfortable (just keeping it real). I can’t sleep. Can’t sit on the couch for too long. If I stand for too long, I swell up. It’s seriously a constant battle. So when I find an outfit that helps me look and feel good, well, I gotta share!
what I’m wearing
Sweater Alice & Olivia, similar here & here (budget-friendly) | Midi Skirt Leith | Coat Nordstrom Signature, similar (budget-friendly) | Heels Christian Louboutin, similar (budget-friendly) | Purse Zara, similar | Earrings Forever 21 (under $4) | Lip MAC (Ruby Woo)
This outfit is equal parts casual and chic. It’s also a great option for a Valentine’s Day outfit for chilly weather! I love the fun red and pink color block in the sweater and a black midi skirt is classic and extremely versatile. One of my favorite ways to create a stylish yet practical outfit is by pairing a cozy piece (like the sweater) with a sleek piece (like the midi) because they work together to create a nice balance. You’re not over or under-dressed – the look is just right.
I’d love to hear about your Valentine’s Day plans and if they include a casual look like this one or a more dressed up outfit like the one I shared in this post? Let me know below!
