I couldn’t resist putting together one final outfit for Valentine’s Day. I’ve already brought you a white lace dress, a sexier option with over-the-knee boots and today I thought it’d be fun to be a bit more girly and sport some classic red! This skirt seriously makes me feel like a princess and I can’t think of a better day than Valentine’s Day to wear an outfit like this!
I went simple on the shirt with a textured, white crop top that could have been worn tucked in but I kind of liked the way it looked better untucked. Because the skirt is so feminine I opted for straight hair since curls might have made the outfit too girly for my liking. I spiced it up with a bold red lip to match my skirt. I went with Nars “Cruella” since it wears pretty comfortably and works for most skin types (and let’s be honest, if you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider you probably got it as a birthday gift last year so you most likely already have it in your makeup stash).
Plans have finally been made for Valentine’s Day by my hubs. We’ll be heading into NYC for dinner and drinks! And when my hubby saw me in this outfit he loved it so much he asked if I could wear it for our date night 🙂 That makes it easy for me! Although I might opt for a long sleeve blouse since it’s been so cold in Connecticut.
