I’m back today with a beautiful floral dress that serves as perfect inspiration if you don’t know what to wear on Easter Sunday. This time last year my husband and I were in Florida, getting a little RnR at my in-laws. I wore a white eyelet dress you can see here and then wore it again when we made a quick stop in Charleston to explore a bit. Boy, it’s crazy the difference a year makes! This year we’ll be staying put and spending it at my sister-in-law’s. It’ll be baby girl’s first holiday and just the thought of celebrating and starting traditions as a family of three is getting me so excited.
what I’m wearing
It was truly love at first sight when I saw this dress. Yes, it might be predictable to wear florals for Easter but the deep tones and subtle ruching details really make it a wonderful choice for transitional winter to spring weather. The fact that it’s midi combined with elbow-length sleeves only adds to the appeal.
I’m loving that it can also serve you well for either a formal or casual Easter gathering. I’m one for wearing my heels to church but then changing into cute flats or wedges after. Sometimes an outfit doesn’t lend itself for this little switcharoo but this dress definitely does and you gotta love that! It’s certainly a perk when investing in versatile pieces that are quality as well.
Are you a formal or casual dresser when it comes to Easter Sunday? I definitely err on the side of formal and almost always wear a dress.
Thanks for stopping by today! Until my next post!
